I'm so giddy this morning as I type...for I proudly introduce to you Rachel from French Farmhouse 425. As many of you already know, I am a fairly new blogger and Rachel and I have this in common. Her blog has taken many (including myself) by storm. Her charming home, beautiful music choices, and unique posts keep me captivated, and her sweet personality rings through loud and clear. I encourage you to stop by and follow this sweetheart.
Take it away Rachel...

1. What motivated/inspired you to start a blog?
I became inspired to start a blog when I discovered the blog The Old Painted Cottage . I always looked forward to the Cottage of the month features and Jennifer's blog had so much decorating inspiration that one day I decided to try starting my own little blog! I'm so glad I did.
2. Where do you live? What do you love about it?
I live in Washington state in a suburb of Seattle. I love how close I am to the city and just as close to the waterfront.I have always loved the rainy weather we have here in Seattle too!lol..alot of people think im crazy for loving the rain..but I do!It is so cozy. ;)
3. What is your favorite piece of furniture in your home?
Right now my favorite piece of furniture is probably my new dresser I scored for $25 at a thriftshop!! I have alot of white pieces in my home and this one has the original wood and an old patina that I love.
4. Which interior decorator do you most aspire to?
There are so many wonderful designers /decorators out there..but of course I have to say Rachel Ashwell!! I just love her Shabby Chic way of life and home decor~ I would love to meet her one day. I too have a love for the tattered..chippy..crusty pieces that have alot of patina and charm.I see beauty in what others might see as junk.
5. What is your favorite vacation spot?
To be honest my favorite vacation spot is my own home. I love having days off with my family to nest and be cozy and relax with no plans or agenda. Ok I admit going to Paris again would be wonderful too!!
6. Which one are you drawn to more, art or music?
I would have to say art for sure. I dont know why really..I just love seeing what people create. To me art can be a simple project someone made..doesnt have to be a masterpiece or well known artist.
7. What are some of your favorite reads?
I LOVE Romantic Homes,Romantic Country and Country Home magazines..perfect with a cup of coffee and a cozy sofa!
Hugs, Rachel
