Thank you...

I'd like to thank you for your kind words and prayers through this hard time.
I am lucky to be blessed with friends such as yourselves.
I never thought that so many of you would mean so much to me, and
never in my wildest dreams did I think that I'd lose such a dear friend.
She was a constant in my life.
Do you have one of those?
No matter what was going on at home, at work, with other friendships, in life, she
was always there.  I found comfort in that.
Though I find it difficult, there is a silver lining in the clouds.
I knew her, I loved her, I was blessed.  So was she.

On that note...
I don't want to fill blogland with sadness.
(I know that so many of you are as sensitive as I, and something like this can
put a damper on your day)
So in an attempt to put a little pep in my step today,
I continued my search for the perfect beautiful setting.
A little piece of heaven on earth if you will...
and I came up with this.

A chippy paint piece of heaven.
from front to back, patina covered bliss.
That settee is divine.
This place really doesn't miss a beat.  Do you notice the detailing over the doors?  Love it!

The French artwork probably gives away the fact that yes...this home is in France.
A restful abode.
Charming to say the least.
