Straight out of a storybook!

Who doesn't remember the tale of the two children who were lost in the woods and came across the gingerbread house?

They were Hansel and Gretel of course!  As I sat and tried to recall the bedtime story, I am reminded of homes that emulate the style of the storybook house that was made to lure children.

There are real life Hansel and Gretel homes...made to lure people such as ourselves with their architectural details and unique designs.

It makes me wonder what the inside of these homes are like...

Happy Thursday to you all!

  6. Dearest Natalie,

Those Vogue magazine images are nice!
There certainly are lots of fairytale homes with not so happy endings at times like this!

  10. I wonder if some of those houses are in California? I have a book about storybook design and it seems like a lot of them were located there. Aren't they adorable?

  12. I really love this bedtime story with Hansel and Gretel! The last house is the Witch's House from Beverly Hills, California. You can't see its inside because it's a private home and the owner is Michael Libow, an important real estate agent. But you can take a photo of its amazing exterior...
