You can imagine my delight as I scrolled through Pinterest, found this, and was led back to one of my favorite blogs.  I mean seriously...what a brilliant idea!

My DIY Pick of the Week - 12/10/12

Good Afternoon Dolls!

My DIY pick of the week belongs to Amy over at Woodlawn Lane, for her amazing DIY Upholstered Headboard.  I can't tell you how many times I've viewed a "version" of an upholstered headboard and thought to myself, "I'm going to try that".  I had just really had no idea of how to tackle it.  

Amy made the impossible...possible!  Her tutorial is easy to follow and there are also other crafty tidbits on her blog that you could very easily wish to add to your to-do list.  Not to mention, that her entire room makeover is to die for, the headboard was just the cherry-on-top!

So how does it work?  Every Monday I will be posting my favorite DIY find via Pinterest and posting it here.  I will link up to the original source so that the tutorial will be able to be utilized by YOU (and yours truly).  My DIY pick will be posted in my sidebar for easy accessibility as well :-)

Part of the reason I've become so obsessed with Pinterest is because the sheer amount of creative ideas that one can find.  I don't know about you, but I become so overwhelmed by the numbers that I forget to go back to the original posts about 90% of the time.  Well, not anymore.  My faves will have a home and hopefully they will become your faves too.

My first DIY pick of the week is...

Isn't she a beauty!?!

I fell in love the first time I saw it.  What an outstanding idea!  We all know how much chandeliers cost and Sarah and Ashley from My Simple Obsession posted that the Ro Sham Beaux Malibu Up version of this Chandi can cost you a whopping $4,200.  What!?!

No thanks.  I like your version better Sarah and Ashley.
