Be bold with a little black...

Add a little boldness to all those white palettes...

Photos are courtesy of decorpad

My guest room will have black and white features to break up the monotony.

I have also started painting my daughter's furniture from mismatched whites and browns to all white.  Her dresser currently has a pink front, and I'm still deciding which color to paint that.  I'm thinking white again, with turquoise damask designs and new knobs.  Pics coming soon!

  1. I am in love with white lately. So many ways to make it pop! I'm sure your guest room will be lovely! Am also loving the look of the jumble of frames on a wall. The 5th bedroom just looks so heavenly and relaxing to me!

  2. I love all of these rooms. Even though that head on the wall is kind of freaking me out I do truly like the top room.

Your daughter's room sounds like it will be fab. Looking forward to seeing!

  3. Oh, gorgeous! I love black accents, too, just lovely! So sophisticated! Happy Anniversary, too! XO!

  4. I love monochrome too and love your choices here!! Absolutely pretty! Lovely blog here!! I'm definitely following! :)

Good luck painting the rooms and furniture! :)

  5. @ this free bird: hahaha! I know right, poor zebra. I still like the color scheme.

  6. awesome images! nothing like a little black and white to add drama to a room!

i love your blog esp your header!

    have a lovely weekend!
